When we think about sustainable design, caring for the climate and each other, SEGs can help this. There is much more to SEGs to just promote the environment, but it is much more human centred.

Storyboards help us to understand what's going on in a users world and how our products can make their lives better. They help understand a film before it is actually made, much like a prototype.

Stories are powerful- visualisation, memorability, empathy and engagement. designers really need empathy in order to truly unsedratnd what might make different peoples lives easier.

Storyboards can tie together user stories and user personas. It helps

Character = Persona, what's on their mind. Scene = Environment user is in. Plot = Journey that they're on, where they begin and end. Narrative = What the user is trying to achieve and their backstory.

U can draw it out (Tom example) using points and arrows. Translate that to frames. This is where you draw out and describe what is happening on screen. Often, lower level storyboards are better.

IDEO can frame your design. a technique. 1. What problem trying to solve, possible solutions, try to frame this as a design question, what are the constraints and controls, desired impacts and any tweaks to current design.
